Actually, the more
thought I gave Sunday, the less happened.
We walked, walked, walked, listened to me bitch,
walked, walked, walked, went back to H’Burg and collapsed.

On Monday, Sandra, Judith
and I walked 11 miles (2 more than the schedule called for)
because someone (read NOT Anne) couldn’t
calculate mileage! We were
dragging at the end, but we did it in the heat, so we are
ready to go. We feel pretty
confident about our level of readiness for the actual event.
But, on this trip I fell in love and got kissed (see
photo). |

A MASSIVE snake tried to attack us: |

We got to use an indoor
bathroom:

And a WONDERFUL
man from Shreckhise’s Landscaping stopped us on the road and
gave us bottles of cold water.
He said he “has been passed us three times and we looked
like we need cold water”. So,
if you need shrubbery, go to him.
He’s also very good looking, with a great smile, she
said in a “very sexist way”.
I’m over 60, almost retired and really exhausted with
restraining myself verbally, so I will say whatever.
And I hear many of you saying, “So what’s different?”

Susan, loved your story.
Keep at it woman. You
give hope for all of us.
Taught my official last class at JMU today.
Thoughts on that when I have them.
Back soon. With
gratitude,
