My wonderful supporters:
Okay,
so today it was announced that we would train 3 days this
weekend. I know, nobody promised me fair, but how
about “half fair”? There’s a joke in there somewhere,
I think!
Anyway, Friday afternoon Eva, Judith and I walked 6-7 miles
(Sandra still being somewhere on a beach with sun and
umbrella drinks). Nothing unusual happened except that
we had a temperature of 40ish and it seemed like a summer
day. It was actually fun to get back to training.

But then I spent spring break going north
into the snow! I think it’s an age thing! I
used to go south like all normal people. We did get to hear,
and meet, Chris Pureka at Jammin' Java on Tuesday.
She’s a fantastic guitar player, excellent singer,
songwriter, and very nice person. If you get a chance
to hear her, please do yourself a favor and go. She’s
headed into New England so some of you might be near her.

Then we wake up on Wednesday morning to snow!
What can you do if you’re in a motel in Towson and the snow
has already fallen? Obviously, get in the car and keep
going north! What’s the fun of turning south? So we
stopped in Allentown, PA for the tapioca and then decided to
pass on Northampton when we found out that the temperature
was minus 19. Even idiots have their limits!
