I am deeply sorry to report that Sir Buxton of Hatteras (standard poodle) went to join Casey at 8:17 this morning. He was a kind and gentle dog and unable to survive Casey's death. Judith and I will miss him very much, but he always preferred Eva, so she also grieves deeply and was with him at the end.
We love her and thank her for loving him. We will keep walking, but it is difficult. A house is very empty without dogs.  

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and concern. We love each of you in our own way.
